ALGIERS (Reuters) ? An Algerian regional governor kidnapped near the border with Libya has been freed after his kidnappers were intercepted inside Libya, Algeria's state news agency reported.
The agency, citing an unnamed source in the Algerian Interior Ministry, said the Libyan authorities would soon hand over the governor to Algerian officials at the border.
